Our Dance School

Blue Moon Dancesport (BMD) is a private dance school under the direction of Martin Kunc and Laura Burns. Our mission is to provide quality dance training for beginner to advanced students, and opportunities for technical growth and artistic achievement.  We are dedicated to building strong, beautiful dancers from age 3 to adult in a positive, family-oriented environment that develops self-esteem and self-discipline.

BMD offers a well-rounded curriculum designed to expose students to the diverse world of dance. All classes are taught by experienced dance instructors, who are committed to the highest standards of training for our students - whether they are pursuing dance as a career or simply for enjoyment. Our instructors give each dancer individualized attention during class right from the beginning, and make it a priority to be available to discuss student progress with parents.

Our studio is conveniently located on Route 30 in the Exton East Shopping Center.  We are adjacent to the Exton Square Mall and neighbor to Rino's Restaurant. We are just seconds away from Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts, and are in close proximity to many dining options including Olive Garden, Hot Wok, Outback, Buca di Beppo, and many more.

Our facility offers two bright, large dance studios equipped with state-of-the-art sound equipment, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and professional “floating” Marley dance floors to help reduce fatigue and prevent injuries. We also offer a comfortable waiting area for parents to wait. We are located at street level with no stairs to climb. Parking is convenient and close.

 
 

Trained Instructors - We are proud to provide our students with talented, qualified, and experienced dance instructors who are supportive and friendly. They make it their priority to encourage and train our dancers to be the best they can be, while keeping in mind the most important aspect of the school  -  learning to dance should be fun!

Customer Service - Our helpful office staff is available to answer questions during most studio hours, by phone and email.

Group & Individual Attention - Our instructors work with their students to create a dynamic team, and provide individualized attention when needed.  We have a closed door policy, which ensures students receive a focused learning experience without distractions.

Wholesome Learning Environment -  We use only family-friendly music and age-appropriate dance routines. 

Performance Opportunities -  We have annual dance recitals and other performance opportunities.
